Scott Cooper



Scott Cooper began serving as Executive Director of Hillcrest Ministries in June 1995. Scott & his wife Lisa live on a farm in Kearney, with 14 horses, 20 barn cats, 2 dogs, and 3 chickens. In his free time away from Hillcrest, Scott enjoys horseback riding, playing guitar & reading.

Scott enjoys serving in capacities beyond Hillcrest, including leading mission trips to Central America, being active in Rotary Club, and the Liberty Sertoma Club. He has served as past President of Clay County Habitat for Humanity Board, past President of the Liberty Lions Club, and as a member of the Liberty Chamber of Commerce Board.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from William Jewell College, with a double major in biology & communication. He also studied Spanish in Spain & Costa Rica, which is helpful on his mission trips.

As Executive Director, Scott has been instrumental in overseeing the expansion of Hillcrest into 4 separate affiliates in Clay, Platte, Eastern Jackson, & Wyando
