Scott enjoys serving in capacities beyond Hillcrest, including leading mission trips to Central America, being active in Rotary Club, and the Liberty Sertoma Club. He has served as past President of Clay County Habitat for Humanity Board, past President of the Liberty Lions Club, and as a member of the Liberty Chamber of Commerce Board.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from William Jewell College, with a double major in biology & communication. He also studied Spanish in Spain & Costa Rica, which is helpful on his mission trips.
As Executive Director, Scott has been instrumental in overseeing the expansion of Hillcrest into 4 separate affiliates in Clay, Platte, Eastern Jackson, & Wyandotte Counties, and looks forward to continued growth of the program to other communities. "It's a humbling experience to be part of something so significant as Hillcrest, a program that literally endeavors to and succeeds at giving families a life changing experience over & over again. I am grateful to the communities that support us and to God for the opportunity to be involved in such a worthwhile mission."
